Conor McGregor: készen állok a bunyóra!

Hatalmas porfelhőt kavart Khabib azzal, hogy úgy döntött, inkább marad otthon, és nem kockáztatja a saját, illetve mások életét azzal, hogy ide-oda utazgat a világban a UFC kedvéért. Tony Ferguson marha pipa volt emiatt, és azt mondta, hogy a dagesztáni elfutott előle, de hozzátette, hogy Conor McGregor is bekaphatja, mert ő is futkorászik a kihívók elől.

Jött a találgatás, hogy akkor most mi legyen az ellenfél nélkül maradt "El Cucuy"-jal. Szerintünk nem lenne szabad most senki ellen sem vállalnia bunyót, hiszen Khabib a nagy hal, rá készül már évek óta és a bajnoki cím is nála van (kivéve, ha Tony javaslatára megfosztja őt a UFC).

De kihívói vannak szép számmal. Conor is jelezte, hogy tud bunyózni:

"Formában vagyok most a harcra!" – üzente a Notorious a Twitter-en. Egy következő posztban azt írta, hogy a "ki a gyávább" versenyt (game of chicken) Nurmagomedov és Ferguson között Tony nyerte, mert Khabib most harmadjára fújt visszavonulót, Tony pedig korábban kétszer.

"Gratulálok, Tony." – szólt az üzenet vége.

The fact of this matter is, both Tony and Khabib where engaged in a game of chicken here towards the fight bell. With Khabib chickening out first. Making it 3-2 in pullouts in Tony’s favour. Khab scurried out of the U.S to home, and amid the crisis. Very high risk.
